‘Character is Beauty’ is the English interpretation of a popular (and one of my favourite) Yoruba proverbs) - Iwa Lewa. The proverb encourages us to consider that beyond the superficial, beyond appearance, and beyond the facades. Who you are and what you do is your real beauty.
