The earrings and hooks are cast in Sterling silver. Dimensions: Each mask size: 2.2cm (w) x 4.5cm (h).They celebrate the phenomenal Iyoba Idia from the Kingdom of Benin during the 16th century (now in modern day Nigeria).

Most likely created in the 16th century, it dispelled the myths that African art was primitive.
